The O’Berry area offers a little bit of everything — parks, trails, and plenty of ways to enjoy the outdoors.

• Jaycee Park – A community favorite for its small garden and walking trail, tennis, beach volleyball courts, and playgrounds.
• Fred Fletcher Park – one of our favorite small parks in Raleigh. Beautiful for picnics, photographs and frequent community events like yoga, fairs, markets, live music, and movies.
• House Creek and Reedy Creek Greenway Trails are close by at the Ridgewood Shopping Center. You can also join the Art to Heart Trail from here. 
• Raleigh Rose Garden is a favorite park of ours for picnics and photographs. It’s the backyard to the Raleigh Little Theater, a great intimate venue + outdoor amphitheater for movies and shows in the warmer months.
• NC Museum of Art is just over two miles away. It’s not just amazing for its collection of art but for its sculpture garden and walking trails. Also hosts many great community events with the Art in Bloom being one of our favorites.

NC Art Museum / WRAL Azalea Garden

• Pollack Place Park has a small playground with a hand glider, climbing wall and sandboxes. Well shaded by large trees
• Chamberlain Park is a small park with a basketball court near Village District
• WRAL Azalea Garden is a hidden gem in Raleigh – small but mighty with beauty, especially in the spring. Bring a book and hide away.
• The larger city parks, Pullen Park and Dorothea Dix Park are only 2.5 miles away, which gives you access to more serene green spaces and community events.
• NC State Games – Catch a Wolfpack basketball game at Reynolds Coliseum (women’s) or Lenovo Center (men’s) or a football game at Carter Finley Stadium (tailgating here is legendary) O’Berry is close to all three venues!
• JC Raulston Arboretum Fantastic gardens to wander through, enjoy quiet time, or attend one of their many classes or events.
