8 Delicious Pumpkin Treats To Indulge In This Fall Season [2026 Edition!]

When the weather turns crisp and the leaves change to Autumnal shades of red, yellow, and orange, you know it’s Fall. What’s the best thing about Fall? Of course, it’s all the pumpkin-flavored treats that make their way onto seasonal menus across the City of Oaks! No, we’re not talking Pumpkin Spiced Lattes from Starbucks, we can do better than that, people, we’re talking freshly made, organic, and good for a short time only pumpkin treats!

Whether you’re looking for a specialty coffee, a succulent craft beer, a tasty dessert, or something much more unique, these yummy Fall pumpkin treats in Raleigh will add to your love handles… but it’s worth it!

Pumpkin Creme Brulee at Bittersweet

How could this even be real? My two favorite desserts combined into one, AND gluten free! This was my birthday treat at Bittersweet in Raleigh, a downtown coffee, cocktail, and dessert bar! Desserts are baked in-house daily all-natural, local, seasonal menu and a promise of no fake, icky stuff.

The pumpkin spice crème brûlée is back for the 2026 season, and it’s one of my all-time favorite Fall treats. It’s topped with house-made whipped cream, spiced pecans and dried cranberry mix, making it the most perfect mixture of flavors for the Fall season.

My recommendation is to pair it with an Irish coffee and reminisce about your year spent living in Dublin, or maybe an Espresso Martini. If you’re visiting during Sunday brunch, there is also a Pumpkin Cheesecake Crunch available on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays only. It’s a small shortbread crust base dessert with pumpkin cheesecake, brown sugar custard, and homemade cinnamon toast crunch cereal. Yum!

Pumpkin Cheesecake Mousse at Asali Cafe

This chocolate mirror-glazed pumpkin cheesecake mousse over spice cake dessert at Asali Cafe is back for another Fall season in 2026! It’s also exquisite to look at, especially with that cute pumpkin on top. This is one you may want to share for the richness of it. Fight over who gets the last bite; you will want that flavor to linger longer.

Some other seasonal favorites that are returning to the menu this Fall are the Pumpkin Patch Mousse, Pumpkin Tahini Cheesecake, and the flaky Puffkin – a sweet puff pastry with seasoned pumpkin and chocolate chip filling, topped with a honey mascarpone icing and sprinkled with cinnamon. Pair your dessert with a brown sugar maple latte, banana bread latte, or salted saffron latte.

Pumpkin Spice Latte at Fount Coffee + Kitchen

I’ve typically steered away from flavored coffees, as they’ve rarely had a happy ending. Spoiling a good cup of coffee is a crime in Australia. I leaped at the chance to try this pumpkin spice latte from Fount Coffee + Kitchen in Morrisville as soon as I heard the pumpkin syrup was made in-house with all-natural ingredients and only honey or maple syrups as a sweetener, if at all.

I do not like sweet coffee, and this pumpkin spice latte over-delivered on this promise. A subtle sprinkling of pumpkin gave a creamy, delicious edge to a smooth brew. This has skyrocketed to the top of my favorite coffee in Raleigh list. I highly recommend pairing your pumpkin spice latte with their sweet potato waffles, which are back for another Fall season.

Or – if you’re lucky and they’re not sold out of their Fall tradition – pumpkin spiced doughnuts! What we love about this community-minded, local coffee shop in Wake County is that it’s 100% gluten free!

Pumpkin Pie Rolls at Raleigh Rolls

Roll on up to Morgan Street Food Hall for this pumpkin treat. Raleigh Rolls is doing a pumpkin pie version of their ice cream rolls. They are combining their creamy vanilla base with pumpkin pie filling, whipped cream, and graham cracker crust, which they mash up and spread thin over a freezing cold surface, which, when it hardens, they can roll with a spatula. These delicious rolls are then topped with more whipped cream and graham cracker crust for the perfect bite.

Did you know the concept of ice cream rolls was first started on the streets of Thailand? We once lived in Bangkok and spent every evening eating off those food carts. If only we knew about this treat; it over takes the banana pancakes to the next level.

Chai Spiced Pumpkin Cheesecake at Lucettegrace

New for 2026, the Chai Spiced Pumpkin Cheesecake at Lucettegrace looks absolutely divine! This pumpkin and passion fruit cheesecake pairs the acidity from the pumpkin with a light spice from the Chai. And what’s more is the base, the dupe Biscoff, is gluten-free as it’s made with speculoos shortbread. Topped with speculoos chantilly, roasted salted pumpkin seeds, and freeze-dried passion fruit crispies. What’s not to love?

Pumpkin Decorated Shortbread Cookies at Groovy Duck Bakery

Groovy Duck is a locally-owned bakery that has a wonderful Fall menu with some yummy-looking Fall treats. From cupcakes to muffins to pumpkin pie lattes, these treats are highly rated. On the 2026 menu, there are Caramel Pecan Muffins, Brown Butter Pecan Pie Chunky Cookie, Apple Pie Cheesecake Blondie, and Pumpkin Decorated Shortbread Cookies.

Although they are most famous for their chunky cookies, we like the sound of the Pumpkin Decorated Shortbread Cookies. We’re gluten-free, and many of the items at Groovy Duck are not GF, but they do have a few GF items stocked by other vendors, so if you’re GF like us, you’ll need to ask for options.

Pumpkin Spice Cheesecake at STIR Raleigh

What better way to finish off a delicious meal at STIR than with their Fall favorite, the Pumpkin Spice Cheesecake? Back for another year, this decadent cheesecake has become something of an icon in Raleigh.

It’s made with pecans, graham cracker crust, cream cheese frosting, and topped with caramel sauce. Yum!

Pumpkin S’mores at Edible Art Bakery & Dessert Cafe

For something decadent and a little bit different, Edible Art Bakery has a divine fall cupcake lineup that includes a Pumpkin S’mores cupcake, made with pumpkin chocolate-chip cake, marshmallow buttercream, ganache, and graham crumbs.

Final thoughts

Fall is a sensory experience. While our eyes feast on the changing colors of the leaves, we can’t let our taste buds be neglected. It’s the season to fall in love with the taste of pumpkin. To be honest, we Aussies had no idea pumpkin could be a sweet treat. Yes, we found it bizarre when we first moved over here in 2004, but with one taste of homemade pumpkin pie, we were won over.

Pumpkin for Aussies is used in a savory fashion. You have not experienced food heaven until you’ve had roast pumpkin or pumpkin soup. But we’re in the USA now, and while we’ll sneak in our savory pumpkin treats at home, we’re all for eating the sweeter kind when out and about in Raleigh.
