The Burger Village Difference: What makes this Raleigh Restaurant Raveable

Of course, you want to hear about a raveable restaurant in Raleigh. And I love raving loud and often at hidden gems we find that focus on QUALITY. And with Burger Village, a restaurant on Glenwood Ave in downtown Raleigh they excel in quality.

Organic & grass-fed burgers!

We are professional content creators, not just on this blog and our Raleigh social channels, but on our global travel site (14 years now).

The nature of our business means we eat out a lot. This may sound glamorous, but from a health perspective (which we really care about) this is not so glamorous.

At home, we eat an organic, whole food clean diet that includes grass fed and pasture raised meat free of gluten (necessity for me) high fructose corn syrup, sugar, and vegetable oils.

When we eat out, we cannot guarantee we’ll get this. That’s the Burger Village difference! With them, we get HEALTH priority served up on the plate.

I am guaranteed food free from gluten (including cross contamination), organic and made from meat that is grass fed and humanely raised – no frozen processed patties here!

And so, I’ll return again and again, and I’ll rave about them over and over.

They are a rarity which is why they stand out in a crowded Raleigh restaurant scene. It’s not just us that feel this way either. They’ve only been open for 8 months, and in that short time have amassed over 680 reviews on Google with a 4.7 rating. That is solid cred backing up our new-found passion for this new downtown Raleigh restaurant.

We are more than thrilled to partner with them long term, and to share with how they serve up high quality food, at what we think is a reasonable price.

Ethically Sourced, Organic, Humanely Raised Produce

All-natural, antibiotic and hormone-free products!

This should be the norm, rather than a trend. I’m grateful to places like Burger Village who are working to emphasize the importance of food that elevates our health and helps our environment.

Burger Village are dedicated to serving organic, all-natural, antibiotic and hormone-free products in the form of juicy burgers, fresh hand-cut fries, salads, soups, shakes, and other beverages, along with mouthwatering desserts.

Humanely raised

They source their ingredients directly from family-owned farms and dairies, livestock and produce are nourished and cared for in a natural and humane way, with animals raised in pasture-raised and cage-free environments.

Their commitment to ethical sourcing means that their Burger Village not only provides delicious and nutritious meals but also supports farmer families and promotes ecological practices.

It truly does make a difference to how you feel after you eat food created from produce like this.

burger Village also make an assortment of handcrafted organic sodas and organic milk shakes made with organic fruits. And they prioritize organic wines made using sustainable and eco-friendly practices.

Organic Exotic Meats

Another Burger Village difference is the large selection of exotic meats they have. This is not just a standard chicken and beef burger place. You can definitely have that, because of course, yummy, but what a treat to also be able to choose meats such as bison, ostrich, elk, wild boar and lamb!

I cannot wait to return and try each one. We’ve had all these versions before in our travels – especially in Africa- and can attest that they are delicious and worth eating, especially the wild boar and ostrich! We eat a lot of lamb in Australia, and it’s always been my favorite meat, so I love seeing this at Burger Village.

Food for All Dietary Needs

Awesome salads and sides!

If you have any dietary concerns, you’ll be happy to know Burger Village has your back. They offer an abundance of options catering to various dietary preferences, including gluten-free, peanut-free, and vegan/plant-based choices.

They provide gluten-free buns (or lettuce wraps) and have a dedicated fryer, ensuring that you can indulge in their delectable Cajun-seasoned fries and tater tots without any worries. (Trust me, they’re heavenly!)

As someone who follows a gluten-free diet, I found myself delighted to discover that I could enjoy nearly everything on their menu, which is a stark contrast to the usual scenario where I’m limited to only one or two choices, if any at all.

Vegetarian and vegan eaters love dining at the Burger Village. They have Impossible and Beyond burgers along with black bean, veggie and mushroom patties. I had a found it very tasty (I was vegetarian for six years and it was difficult to find good tasting burgers like this)

Healthier Soda Versions

Maine Root Sodas

This Burger Village difference is an extra big plus for families! I know how much my girls love ordering soda when we eat out. I feel so much better about a soda treat coming from Burger Village. I also feel better about them going in my craft cocktails!

The Maine Root Sodas at Burger Village are not your typical sodas, but a better version made from 100% organic sugar cane without any high fructose corn syrup and major allergens. These sodas also go into their cocktails.

I can tell you, I never order soda, but I love their ginger soda and have a glass each time I visit. It’s refreshing without being sickly sweet.

Making Healthy Eating Affordable

Affordable & healthy!

Unfortunately, a fact of life is, the healthy food versions cost the most. As I mentioned, we know this as our grocery cart is filled with organic, grass fed, and pasture raised.

And we pay a LOT more. For us, it’s worth it. We’d rather pay more for high-quality food that won’t make us sick, than buying a Coach handbag. People always pay more for high quality, except unlike a luxury bag item, higher quality food will return you with positive test results, and we hope, a longer life span.

But, considering this high-quality food at Burger Village – that also considers the environment – the menu at Burger Village is well priced. I love that I can actually eat at a restaurant in Raleigh that gives me this across the entire menu. And so, we keep returning, as do many other diners:

Plus, the servings are also more than healthy. You will not walk out hungry and may need a to-go box and a much smaller dinner (#savings) I’ve had plenty of burgers in Raleigh that are half the size for the same price, if not more!

Remember, the price you pay now for quality food means you’ll pay a lot less much higher medical bills later.
