Get a Taste of Raleigh at Brewgaloo Beer Festival (April 21 + 22)

Beer lovers rejoice. If you love tasting local craft beers of all different styles, the Brewgaloo Beer Fest in downtown Raleigh is the biggest craft beer festival in North Carolina, and one of the biggest beer fests in the USA!

This is one of my favorite events in Raleigh each year with the chance to taste-test beers from not only many of the local Raleigh breweries, but from breweries all over the state of North Carolina – and cideries for the non-beer drinkers!

One of the things we love about living in Raleigh (and North Carolina) is the thriving craft beer scene and for the love of all things beer this fun two-day event, this year on April 21 & 22 is a great time to kick-off the Spring season with a frothy head and taste beer from around NC.

What is Brewgaloo?

Brewgaloo Raleigh is a 2-day festival that features over 100 craft breweries from around NC, plus 50 local food trucks, 30+ local vendors, and local bands on two stages all adding up to a lively event held on Fayetteville Street in the heart of the city. There’s always a fun-filled atmosphere at this Raleigh event.

Brewgaloo has an attendance of over 40,000+ people making it North Carolina’s largest craft beer festival, but also the largest single state craft beer festival in existence, and winner of USAToday’s 10Best List for #1 beer festival two years in a row!

You can choose to attend one of two days, or, why not attend both:

1. Friday Night Block Party (April 21, 2023)

April 21, 2023 – The Brewgaloo festival starts off with a Friday night kick-off party (a mini-version of Saturday’s street festival). This block party is from 6-10 PM in City Plaza (Fayetteville St) and for a $45 entrance fee you get unlimited 3 oz pours of limited releases, barrel aged, and sour beers that you won’t find at Saturday’s event.

For one flat price you can choose from over 50 beers to sample with unlimited 3 oz pours. You can grab dinner from one of the local food trucks, shop with local vendors, and enjoy live music during this low-key tasting event. The Brewgaloo Block Party is a great way to start the weekend.

  • Tickets are $45 online in advance or $55 on the day of the event.
