LOCAL’S GUIDE TO NORTH PERSON STREET, RALEIGH (EAT, DRINK, SHOP)

Keeping in line with the growth in most areas of Raleigh, the North Person Street area has come on in leaps and bounds and is now one of our favorite streets in downtown Raleigh to hangout and get something to eat, drink, and shop.

Where Is North Person Street Raleigh?

Positioned in the northern end of downtown Raleigh, it’s conveniently located adjacent to the historic neighborhoods of Oakwood and Mordecai, two of our favorite Raleigh neighborhoods, and just 1.2 miles from the state Capital building.

Standard Beer + Food

Raleigh has no shortage of cool breweries to taste some local craft brews, and Standard Beer + Food has shot up near the top of our list of favorite local breweries.

Oakwood Pizza Box

A simple menu with three basic pizza pies; cheese, square, white, each 18″ in diameter, and you can build on those with extra ingredients at $2 each. Or, you can order just a slice of pizza heaven. And they have gluten free bases!

Pelagic Beer & Wine

Founded in 2015 by local North Carolinians, they offer an extensive selection of craft beer, wine and cider to take home or enjoy in their tasting room, and we love their community spirit as they only sell beer from independent craft breweries in our state and region!

Crawford & Son

The casual and cozy neighborhood restaurant of Crawford & Son serves honest food ranging from the familiar to the unexpected.

The Station At Person Street

A corner bar and restaurant that originally served as an Amoco gas station, The Station pays tribute to Raleigh’s rich past as well as present.
