1 DAY ITINERARY FOR A RALEIGH TO  WRIGHTSVILLE BEACH TRIP

Now that we live in Raleigh permanently, a Raleigh to Wrightsville Beach road trip is one of our favorite getaways, along with the Outer Banks.

So if you’re looking for a beach vacation, take it from us when we say Wrightsville Beach is one of the best places to visit in North Carolina, and one of our favorite beaches in America. 

What Is Wrightsville Beach Known For?

Laid back coastal living, miles of pristine beach and endless water activities such as swimming, body boarding, kayaking, paddle boarding, fishing, boating, and surf culture.

Raleigh to Wrightsville Beach is a 2-hour drive (132 miles) straight down I-40 E.

On a day trip from Raleigh, we like to leave no later than 7am which gets us there by 9am to make the most of our time, and we head straight to our favorite coffee spot in Wrightsville, SUNdays Cafe.
