Coffee dates, with kids? We both actually didn`t start drinking coffee until our mid-twenties, but we have been taking our kids to coffee shops all over the world since they were born.
No, we don`t allow our kids to drink coffee yet (ages 12 & 16) but they do love hot chocolates and other caffeine free beverages.
As much as we enjoy adult coffee dates to have KID FREE time, it`s nice to have parent/child bonding times in cafes out of the house, as the conversation can be more relaxed.
To be honest, sometimes we have to bribe them to come with us. e.g.
* you can get your favorite Nutella waffles at @jubalacoffee
* you can get mochi donuts at @heirloomraleigh
* you can get a cookie at @themorningtimes
* you can get a delicious baked treat at @idlehour_coffee
* you can get your fave acai bowl at @fountcoffee

This was FUN. We love kayaking, and we love wildlife, so why not combine them both! When in Beaufort on @TheCrystalCoast [AD], we did a 2-hour guided kayaking tour with the great folks from @BeaufortPaddle.
Our expedition took us through the tranquil marshes of the Rachel Carson Reserve, which is home to about 35 wild horses.
We paddled across Taylor’s Creek over to walk along the white sand beaches of Bird Shoals passing a group of four wild horses along the way.
Our journey continued down the creek, enjoying the views of the historic Beaufort waterfront on one side and horses grazing on the banks of the Rachel Carson Reserve on the other. Some tours get lucky and see dolphins.
